That vlive clip is crazy. What I wouldn’t give to be in jimins head during that conversation. The look of surprise when tae says it’s with jungkook, the way you can literally see the cogs turning in his head and he looks like he’s mentally going through all of the filing cabinets in his brain over this new info, the kind of passive aggressive thumbs up towards jungkook and then stare down. He was going through all the emotions.

Also I love the way jungkook can’t look at Jimin throughout the whole ordeal. I’m not sure if he knows he’ll break if he does or if he knows Jimin will read right through him, but it’s funny regardless. Also props to taes acting chops that he can stare right into jimins eyes and continue the story.

When I watched this Live and saw Jimin’s reaction to that information I couldn’t understand why people weren’t talking about it more or pointing it out because it was so obvious to me that something was wrong. At that time I hadn’t really realized yet that Tae was bluffing and that Jk was just playing along so I felt a little bad that Jk didn’t tell Jimin mostly because Jimin looked a little disappointed to me but after I figured out that they were joking around I had such a good laugh.

Fun fact, I actually figured out that there wasn’t going to be any song way before we didn’t actually get any Christmas song and this was because, Tae said something about any promise which was made there had to be fulfilled and then after that, Jk told tae “I heard you were going to get me a very big present tomorrow” (do you get it?) since Tae said any thing that was promised there should be fulfilled Jk took the opportunity to make Tae “promise” to get him a present “tomorrow” which he had to do because, he couldn’t break any promise that was made there per his own words. That is how I first figured out the whole thing was them playing around but I wasn’t completely sure and then when the time came and passed and we didn’t get any song from taekook, that confirmed it for me.

This VLive was so telling! Till this day I never understood how the cult watched this Live and honestly thought it confirmed Taekook because paying attention to the things they said should have made anyone understand that Taekook definitely weren’t dating lol. First of all, at the time the VLive started, Jk and Jimin were literally together eating while Tae was eating all by himself, jikook also came back from the concert together, at some point Tae wasn’t even sure if Jk was gonna join the Live because someone asked in the comments if Jk was coming and he said no. After Jk arrived, at some point while they were talking, Jimin told Tae that him and Jk laugh to go to bed at night and that was after they told him that they ate chicken together. Later on, Jk looked at Jimin and told him that he was going to go to Tae’s room the next day and I was like, if taekook are dating and Jk is used to being in Tae’s room alot then why on earth was he telling Jimin that? Also why was he telling Jimin in the first place as if he was taking permission from him or letting him know that instead of being with him (jimin) the next day as usual, he will go to hang out with Tae in his room? See what I am saying? He wouldn’t have felt the need to say that if he was Tae’s boyfriend and constantly spent time in his room. Also, before the Vlive ends, Jimin asks Tae how come he showered so fast because “we haven’t showered yet” the “we” here referring to himself and Jk. Imagine Jimin sitting there telling Tae that he hasn’t showered yet with his (Tae’s) boyfriend…..ABOMINATION! Lol. That Live was a goldmine for me and while the neighbours were screaming about a 5 second stare, I was soaking in all the little TMIs we were getting which basically told us how much time Jimin and Jungkook spent with each other.

Some jkkrs hated that VLive because of people saying Jimin looked like a thirdwheel but it remains one of my favourite Lives ever not only because of how entertaining it was but because of how telling it was. Was it awkward and cringey at times? Yes but it was epic!

He kept checking her during and after the performances, warned the fans not to throw anything while she is dancing, and the fans' favorite being when he signed her to took off her heels. She was hesitant at first but he came up to her and took them off himself.

Is it only me the Jikooker who really didn't felt anything special watching it ? First of all he started it by calling Jimin bro, there ends everything. Two, unlike most of Jikookers thought they are not living together even on some days. During their free hours they spend time alone at their own separate apartments. JK don't even have his basic stuffs at Jimin's place for them to have atleast sleep overs. This is JK's original apartment and not 'hybe arranged to do vlives apt'. Three most of their convos were so regular and normal?senting pic everyone going crazy over can be just Jimin's puffy face as he just woke up 🤷‍♀️ he gets puffy easily and definitely don't want to come live with a puffy face. And I know you and others are definitely not gonna agree with me as whenever someone have a different opinion here from rest Jkkrs they are mocked. Kanmom, I haven't seen this moment talked about - correct me if I'm wrong - so I'm submitting it to you, for your objective opinion and to check my delulu-ness.

It's one of Jimin's welives on the go, in the car. The 16-minute one on or about March 28. It's still daytime and he's got his grey hood up and make-up still on (and looking gorgeous).

Around 10:18, he says that this is fun and now he gets why JK does welives like this. Then the driver and/or manager asks, is [the welive] over? JM says no, laughs heartily, says it's fun, and then seems to assure manager-nim, it's ok, it's ok.

This got my jikooker antennas tingling. Why would the mention of JK signal to his manager that the welive is over? Because he's not supposed to talk about JK unless specifically referencing a comment from JK himself or an ARMY comment about JK? Or because he's always talking about JK in his downtime?

Anyway, I dunno if I'm reaching but this moment was fascinating for me because we NEVER hear a manager in a live. Even when they came into JK's hotel room when he was getting stalker calls, they entered and took the phone out of the situation in silence. And, of course, there are those old, sus vlives where JM has said it's a manager moving, but not talking, in the background.

Even if this was not a thing, JM being so kind and reassuring to Mr. Manager who was probably going, oh shit, I'm so sorry! You weren't done?! was so cute to see. He is really the sweetest.

Now, it's not like they arrived at their destination. We can still see the car bouncing around. So why did the manager or driver say that (not sure which it was)?

Could the manager have thought it was over because JM mentioned his name or more so talked about JK's lives?

Went back to watch the whole thing. To see if this is the first time JM mentions JK's name out of context, meaning if this is the first time he says his name not reading a comment or reacting to one...

So up to that point JK hadn't commented yet, and although JM did mention JK it was always by reading a comment and answering it.

That statement about it being fun, that came out of no where.

Perhaps the person thought he was commenting about the live, or more like it being over, especially because he brings up JK independently.

If he wasn't fully paying attention he could have thought JM was done and talking to himself or to him kind of saying : "this was fun, now I see why JK does this".

I do have thoughts about certain guidelines they were given with regards to interactions and mentions. Let's not be naive here. For two members whom we all know were considerably the closest with each other in the group, inseparable would be the word to describe them, to go dead silent, not to be seen together, not to be paired together, not to be interacting with each other even when they are with others, like not at all, that's not a choice.

I keep repeating this time and time again. There is a reason JK did what he did with his IG account. Not everything is about them being a couple, obviously, but definitely some of it is.

i've said it a billion times before: tsukasa is the comedic relief weirdguy, the devs basically will do anything with him so long as it's funny.

so starting with that valentine's day vlive in 2021. during the MC part of that he gets jealous that rui has been getting chocolates and tries to brag that he got lots of chocolates too but then immediately reveals that he got friendzoned by multiple girls. his voiceline that year is something about how he catches everyone's attention on vday and year round bc he's a star or something like that but anyway that whole interaction there seems to suggest he's straight lol.

however.

he's REALLY oblivious. played for comedy ofc but i see a lot of people interpret this as him being somewhere on the aro spectrum (probably not what the writers intended but fair instance of accidentally coding a character as smth). examples include: not understanding why Akito doesn't want to be seen at PXL alone with Toya in an Akito's initial 3* (second story), literally says "thank you" when Asahi basically confesses to him and completely misses the point (he actually did seem to nearly get this one for a second), and he doesn't understand why Rui's friends are impressed that he's friends the incredibly attractive Shizuku (Tsukasa is the only not-gay-coded male character who isn't attracted to Shizuku, probably because they're childhood friends. or if you want to view him as being aspec, then that works too). also when he mentions that he's friends with guys in his class who are cool and popular and good with women, Hibiki says that he was in a class with one of those guys in 1st year and is amazed that tsukasa is in that crowd now, emphasis on the "tsukasa's friends are good with women part". tsukasa's just confused about that because of course they talk to girls a lot they're in the same class.

also he usually rewrites a lot of romance plays to remove the romance. he rewrote R&J to just make it focused on the action (which is probably because he likes playing action heroes more than anything else), and he got rid of the romance plot in little mermaid because he didn't felt it was needed (this one is justified in-universe as they do fun shows for small children and don't really need the tragic romance, and also from production standpoint like you don't do that because fandom). so yeah that could again be read as him being aspec if you want but i don't think the writers intended it to be read that way, especially the R&J one that was purely for comedy.

all that said, this is an idol game, which generally run on the rule of thumb that every character is some flavour of queer, even if it's just for fanservice (i don't play enstars but from what i do know of it it falls a bit on that last point). anyway you can probably tell where this is going but he gets ship tease with rui sometimes. vast majority of this is from Rui's side but there are things like Oki ni Mesu mama

Tsukasa: Waiting for the "1, 2…" signal, holding hands with you is an act of courage for me

or that one part in pandemonium where he drops his persona for a brief second when he's impressed by rui's plan that was very much put there on purpose, or that Tsukasa and Airi's cheerful carnival team name from that event is "swayed by their partners (相方, aikata)" and when you consider that Shizuku and Airi are heavily implied to like each other, and have canonically been on a "date", that was also a Choice.

idk whether to count KING because justified by them being actors and the fang motif in the song... vampires kinda homoerotic it makes sense that the dance routine was that. also i'm not sure if the connect lives are even canon, especially the wxs one since tokishun broke character and the 4th wall.

yeah i dunno. the writers kinda just do whatever they want with him. interpret any of this how you will i'm just recounting shit from the game.

It sounds dramatic but I can literally feel a change in the air when I think about jin coming back so soon. Though I wish all of the members were coming back soon as well, I'm also kind of glad that the focus will be almost entirely on jin for a couple months, considering, as part of the hyung line, I feel like that rarely happens. I think jin's personality is uniquely suited for this part of the chapter 2 transition period too! So so grateful for him

(Also I feel compelled to note that when I wrote "part of the hyung line" it autocorrected to "part of the hung line," and I of course immediately thought of those xl condoms he was caught with on vlive once lol)

I know, right?! BTS are coming back! Jin leaving = BTS hiatus, so Jin returning = BTS returning, I will take no criticism.

For real, Jin is like the beating heart/soul of BTS. He teases, spoils and cares for Army and the members so much - just having him back will be so comforting. He's such a strong, stable, bright, comforting presence... I just know Jin is going to flood us with fun content, and I'm so excited for his first album! I've no idea what it will sound like or how he'll promote himself!! Will he go on variety shows? Probably, but unconventional ones, with his older friends haha. But I bet he'll go on some trendy shows too (he went on No Prepare for The Astronaut). I think he'd nail Amazing Saturday and Jonathan's show (pls, pls, pls, Jin, go on Kstar Next Door!!) Will Jin be talked into doing dance challenges lmao? I bet he'd make those funny!! I can't wait!

Cryptic: Biggest Concern

Hi!!!

I haven't done a real post in so long TT I miss writing!! I vowed to do some properly this week but forces of the universe are at work to stop me (fever...forgot my hard disk...broke my laptop :')) But I finally got a few days of vacation! YAY! What better to do when sick and free, than to write about Jinkook eh?

So I'm doing a shorter (?) post on something I don't think I've seen many people commenting on. Of course, I could be chronically overthinking if I'm the only one that picked it up? haha. 🙂

JinJunMin~ Making Salad (3.13.2021)

Anyways, this instance is rather loosely connected to Jungkook 🧚🏼‍♀️

For context and relevancy: BTS were frequently doing unit Vlives after they were grounded since the start of 2020. They had less public activities so 'prescheduled' Vlives were an avenue for them to see fans, and for fans to see them. Sometimes the Vlives were fun because the members were absorbed into doing the activity of the day, other times it's fun when they find camaraderie in their shared reluctance to be there.

This salad making session demonstrated the latter - Jin already ate before the live, Minimoni were not salad fans so this trio by all means were just attending as part of their jobs. Happy to be there? That's asking too much lol.

For more specific context, the trio had been on the verge of an argument fallen into silence several times and were giving each other a hard time randomly jumping from topic to topic throughout the live.

When Jin was sarcastically hyping up the plate of chicken breast to the camera, RM abruptly decided to ask him how he had been doing.

The question seemed to stump Jin for a few moments,

Jin was stuttering, stalling, and racking his brain for something to say, then eventually landed on a work schedule as his answer. Then Jimin and Namjoon both chimed in about how they've been practicing for Grammys and actually saw each other the day before.

An assumption on my part, but Jin likely first thought about the section of his life that Namjoon didn't know about - off-work hours - and was filtering through for what he could talk about. I think gaming could have been a great answer. But Jin was caught off-guard, so I don't know if that affected his fibbing skills.

It could be something or could be nothing.

But the following in the middle of the live was quite the interesting convo:

The conversation had stopped and started a few times by now and Jin was filling in by talking about something salad related.

He brought up how some of the other members had salad recently.

Namjoon was paying close attention to what Jin was saying because he parroted him when he listed "Yoongi" and "Jungkookie"

RM: (nodding and repeating) "...Jungkookie."

And after a brief second of contemplation, Namjoon went ahead and asked, "Hyung, don't you have any concerns lately?"

Jin seemed to immediately know what he was referring to and answered, "For concerns, there's just the one thing."

Jimin seemed in the know about this as well.

Humming in agreement, nodding and suppressing a grin.

By now Jin had laid down his chopsticks. I think he knew what Joon was referring to. It was a pretty vague question, but it seemed like it had a pointed answer.

However since Jin didn't elaborate, Namjoon probed further.

If you've watched enough BTS interviews, you'd know the signs instantly whenever they all simultaneously think of something they can't say on camera and start smiling like weirdos.

Jin was still chewing but he was gearing up. He's about to say it.

As he went, "Of course," ...

that was met with instant censorship from Jimin ("Let's just stop, hyung").

I also noticed Namjoon's knowing expressions while he was waiting and listening:

Annnnnd of course, we don't get the real answer from Jin who said,

"I don't have Army in front of me during concerts."

Joon was laughing after hearing the line. Jimin also hadn't looked at the camera once since this conversation started.

And we know Jin just lied improvised a new answer because he retorted back at Joon,

There is another answer. There is another 'concern'.

He almost said it 🤌🏼 Just let it all go and say it Seokjin.. what's there to hide 😩

After Jin gave his answer, RM decided not to probe further since he knew the nature of that other answer. It can't be said anyway. So they agreed on 'armys not being there in person as a very important concern'.

And Jin of course turned the tables on Joon when he could

Ok, whatever this 'concern' was, it's very specific and I guess RM also had a similar ongoing issue that Jin knew about?

So to recap:

Jin mentioned Yoongi and Jungkook's names, Namjoon heard, repeated Jungkook's name and suddenly posed the question 'any recent concerns'.

Jin did have a major one which apparently everyone (but us) knew about. And it can't be said on camera. And the thought of it makes them giggle.

Lastly, RM seemed to have a similar concern.

So 🙂 I don't have an answer for what the mystery concern is, but I do have ideas. They are probably similar to your ideas right now. Or maybe we all have no idea.

But wouldn't it be funny if one of us was right ;)

Ultimately, if you want any take aways from this cryptic conversation, is that they tend to giggle a lot whenever they touch on topics related to ermhmm, taboo topics. It's not sad, dark or serious, but taboo. What else could it be.

I haven’t shown her the Like Crazy performance. I haven’t shown her any performance since the Fake Love Jimin fancam cause she says it’s “too much for her”

she’s trying her best not to fall too deep into the Jimin effect and become like me 😂 cause it’s a constant fight ngl

She was absolutely mesmerized by the fancam, was afraid of the feeling and so landed on comfortable ground with Tae. She knows absolutely nothing about anything but still gets to have army fun and just scream “you’re so cute Tae”, have her tata key ring and vibe.

Sometimes I wish I didn’t bias Jimin cause once you Jim-in you really can’t Jim-out.

I watch my JK and Tae biased army friends not know one thing about streaming, sabotage or even their personalities and I’m like how does it feel to live in blissful ignorance haha. Lol I’ve bought at least 3 albums now, streamed the song on 5 accounts, bought all his songs, researched the music industry, left messages on weverse, and currently now writing a post on tumblr because of my respect for this man’s music & personality.

I also have to delete my socials sometimes , set time limits, limit watching vlives and fancams to curb the Jimin effect while they just live peacefully haha.

Must be nice not being absolutely biaswrecked over and over.

Will I get cancelled if I say it's fanservice? lol Idk really. Since there's no subunit or collabs in sight, maybe he just really likes telling people he's hanging out with Jungkook. I personally still don't vibe with the one-sidedness of it all. It's fun to read the jikooker and OT7 conflict over Tae's apparent one-eighty lol. I didn't think what he did last time was on purpose tho, but I also wonder why he started a vlive while he was gaming, or why he didn't tell his friends he was doing a live beforehand to prevent any awkward situations.

Also, is there a consensus on whether Taekook were together, or if they were only playing online?
